The main mission of the project is to promote students' interest in nation-wide problems, environmental thinking and conduct, and their active approach towards issues related to permanently sustainable development.
During two years of the project, students and teachers of the engaged schools will take part in various activities through which they will learn about current environmental problems, including climate change, pollution and abuse of the environment and the active protection of it, sustainable consumption of resources and cooperation with the local community and the surrounding world.
The project tasks include, for example, the introduction of separated waste collection in schools, the preparation of information and multimedia materials oriented towards different aspects of permanently sustainable development, creative and artistic activities, local research and activities directed towards environmental protection, etc. Mutual communication of the engaged school also forms an important part of the project as it promotes the use of foreign languages and information technologies, and aims towards the mutual recognition of partner countries, interests and the manner of life of students.
