Cambridge International School invites parents to apply for registration of their children for Year 2 (Slovak 1. ročnik.)

Here are the guidelines on what is required for enrolment:

1.  Meet the teacher event to be held at our new building at Úprková 3, 811 04 Bratislava.

Friday, February 10, 2012 (2pm-6pm)

Saturday, February 11, 2012 (9am-12pm)

We ask you to provide the following:

• Parent ID card

• Child's Birth Certificate

2.  We use mandatory assessment test to determine readiness for this class. A Year 2 readiness panel will run through the month of April and May. An information packet with the dates will be sent out to you in advance.

3.  Based on the readiness test results, your child will be offered a place at our school for Year 2. The final decision will be mailed out latest by May.

The conditions laid down by CIS for the admission of a child to study after registration are:

 a)      the payment of the reservation fee of 1.900,-EUR, on the basis of the invoice issued by CIS within 15 days from proceedings of the registration which will, in the case of the admission of the child into the school, be counted against the contribution to cover the costs of education and training (hereinafter „school fee“)

Note: The school returns  the reservation fee  in full, if it transpires that the child did not reach  school eligibility or when the health status of the child does not allow the child to begin to fulfil the compulsory school attendance),

b)   signing  the contract on the provision of training and education until  30.4.2012.

After fulfilling the conditions laid down by the School Act  and the conditions laid down by CIS for the admission of the child on the study, the school shall immediately deliver the director´s  decision on the admission of the child  to the school to the child´s legal representative.
